60 foot European Coastal Cruising Yacht

This 50 ton vintage Baltic cruising vessel arrived at Lunenburg Foundry’s wharf just days ahead of hurricane Juan. The Yacht was drydocked at Lunenburg Foundry’s Boat Yard to allow repairs to be accomplished in the dry. Lunenburg Foundry’s indoor refit facility permitted work to continue in any weather.

Corroded deck plates were removed and replaced. A boat deck extension was designed and fabricated to match the existing structure. The old interior was removed to make way for the new tanks, plumbing and electrical systems. A redesigned exhaust stack and new deck hatches were also added.

Other upgrades included stainless railings, rub rails, anchor guards and detailing. Shipwrights installed a completely new interior. The wheelhouse was designed and fabricated off-site and outfitted with new owner selected electronics. The vessel’s electrical, fuel and water systems were designed by Lunenburg Foundry’s engineers.
