165 ft Lloyd's Class Mega Yacht

Lunenburg Shipyard’s team worked together with captain and crew to complete an on-time on-budget project. This refit included a Lloyd’s Inspection requiring removal and inspection of both rudders and rudder stocks, freshwater tank cleaning and preservation, stabilizer overhaul, painting, and numerous other items.

The vessel required replacement of the teak on the upper decks and the aft boat deck. A team of marine craftsmen were employed to remove the old teak deck and replace it with almost 2000 square feet of new top quality quarter-sawn teak.

Drydocking was accomplished over a 3 week period during which time the boat deck was completely covered to allow work to continue regardless of weather. Upon completion the vessel was taken on sea trials and made ready for sea to continue on to her next destination along the eastern seaboard.
