The 1600 Ton Marine Railway has the capability to haul two different vessels separately provided they are both less than 100 ft (30 m). The 200 ft (60 m) platform splits into two separate sections allowing the lower half to move independently from the upper half. This allows Lunenburg Shipyard to provide reduced hauling fees and flexible options to customers.

* Largest Breadth of the docking platform can be increased to up to 60 ft (18 m) by removing the uprights. This is a difficult process and would only be considered for major refits. For more information on how we can accommodate you please contact us.

NOTE: In order for a vessel to properly be supported on the cradle engineers require a detailed hull schematic in order to create a proper blocking plan.
